Around Laufenburg, power lines are a often a dominating feature of the landscape. Most of the time I try to avoid them in my compositions, but for this series I decided to make them a main subject.
The Waid in Zürich offers a spectacular view of the city, the lake and the alps, weather permitting. The panorama was shot with a 90mm lens, using about 15-20 images in portrait orientation, slightly compressing the perspective and making the alps appear closer as they are.
